Seby is one of our principal dentists. Having worked at the practice for over 10 years, he is well experienced and has become well acquainted with his patients and prides himself in developing a trusting relationship with an emphasis towards encouraging patients towards preventative dentistry.
He has a interest in cosmetic dentistry, in particular, six month smiles to straighten teeth; combined with whitening and composite fillings which can really transform someone smile.
He has also undertaken numerous courses since leaving university and is keen to develop his skills further in tooth wear and full mouth rehabilitation cases.
Sabrina is also one of our principal dentists. A mum of 3, she has recently returned from maternity leave having worked at the practice for the last 6 years which followed previous work for a dentist in Huddersfield.
She is our lead sedationist in the practice and caters for the most nervous patients, empathising with the fact that many patients have a lifelong phobia of dentists usually due to a previous bad experience. Her approachable personality and caring nature helps put them at ease.
If you think you’re just too nervous to have anything done then ask for Sabrina when booking as she is likely to have seen far worse. She has a particular interest in sedation, nervous patients, dental phobias and cosmetic dentistry.
Bryn moved over to the practice 3 years ago having worked in a busy NHS practice in Halifax. He is glad to join a practice where he can spend more time with the patients, helping them understand the treatment choices.
He ensures that the right amount of time is taken to put patients at ease and achieve the best level of excellence.
His caring manner helps relax nervous patients and his professional attitude ensures you are always given the very best.
Sherif is passionate about delivering the highest possible standards in dental care. With, a warm friendly chair side manner, Sherif is able to put his patients at ease, allowing them to feel relaxed. His modern approach also means that he will explain clearly and thoroughly your specific treatment plan (step by step), and is always willing to answer your questions.
The passion Sherif holds for dentistry has led him to pursue further postgraduate qualifications in oral surgery and restorative dentistry (MSc) at the Eastman Dental Institute in London.
He has a particular interest in cosmetics and offers anti wrinkle injections plus a wide range of dermal fillers. If you are interested in any of the above services, ask for Sherif when booking.
Kish has been a valuable member of the team of the team for 3 years. Originally visiting the practice as our consulting implant dentist, in 2015 he joined the practice as a full- time associate. Kish, who has years of experience in general dentistry and a master’s degree in implant dentistry, ensures high standards and an exceptional level of care for patients under his supervision.
Kish brings a range of exciting services to the practice, including implant dentistry and minor surgical procedures. He is currently undergoing further training in sedation.

Thamer joined us from a practice in Huddersfield, and quickly established himself as a valuable member of the team. Thamer is passionate about providing excellent dentistry in a relaxed and comfortable setting, and is an extremely popular dentist with many of our nervous patients.
Liz is our dental hygienist/therapist and has been at the practice for 3 years. Since qualifying, she has gained experience working with nervous patients, especially children.
This has strengthened her skills, allowing her to create a relaxed environment and reducing, if not eliminating, their fears of visiting the dentist.
Liz enjoys sharing her knowledge to help patients improve and maintain their oral hygiene.
Rachel is our patient care coordinator. She joined the practice in 2009, and has established an excellent relationship with our patients. As patient care coordinator, Rachel is available to answer any questions about treatment, and help patients better understand their options. She enjoys welcoming new patients, and supporting current patients through their journey here at the practice. She believes in making patients feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible, and her door is always open if patients fancy a cup of tea and a chat.
Tracy joined the team in 2017. Tracy has 26 years’ experience in the dental setting, starting as a dental nurse, and working her way up to practice manager. She is passionate about leading the team to deliver a fantastic patient experience.
Eileen is a long-standing member of the practice, joining the team in 2002. She is our front-of-house lead, and enjoys welcoming our patients to the practice. Eileen is passionate about good customer service, and is always willing to answer any queries, or help in any way she can.
Kelly joined us in 2010 and qualified in 2011. Kelly is our oral hygiene nurse and our decontamination lead, ensuring we comply with the Department of Health and Care Quality Commission regulations. Kelly also provides internal training for the dental nurses.
Linda first joined the team in 2007. Linda is a long-standing member of our team, and has built a brilliant relationship with our patients over the many years she has worked at the practice.
Rachel joined the practice in 2007, and gained her dental nursing qualification at the Leeds Dental Institute in 2011. Rachel is currently on maternity leave with her new son, George. She is a big part of the team, and we look forward to welcoming her back.
Jessica joined the practice in 2012, and gained her dental nursing qualification in 2013. She is a great member of the team, and always ensures we are all smiling. Jessica is a familiar face for our patients attending for regular hygiene appointments, as she often works alongside our hygiene therapist.
Mariam joined us in 2013 and completed her dental nurse training at the Leeds Dental Institute, qualifying in 2016. She has an excellent relationship with patients, and particularly enjoys assisting our implant patients when they attend for treatment.
Emily is a qualified dental nurse, who joined the practice in 2015. She very quickly established herself as a big part of the Hewett’s family, and is a familiar, smiley face to everyone. Emily assists in a variety of our different surgeries, and is often there to greet our patients from the reception desk.
Katie is a qualified dental nurse, and joined the team in 2017. Katie joined us from a practice in Huddersfield, where she gained extensive experience working as an implant nurse. We are excited to have her as part of our team.
Rose is a trainee dental nurse, who joined us from a practice in Huddersfield, in 2017. Rose is passionate about making patients feeling as comfortable as possible, and is looking forward to gaining her qualification in dental nursing in the next few months.
Megan joined the team in 2017. Since joining, her friendly face has already made Hewett’s Dental practice a brighter place to be! She is looking forward to getting to know our patients more, and gaining her qualification in dental nursing at the Leeds Dental Institute.
Annie is a trainee dental nurse, who joined the practice in 2017. Annie is incredibly excited to be starting her dental nursing career here at Hewett’s, and to complete her training at the Leeds Dental Institute.
