Invisalign alignment

Visualise your new smile today with Hewett’s Brighouse Invisible braces

Our experienced clinicians have been offering orthodontic teeth straightening at our Brighouse practice to patients across Halifax, Bradford, and Huddersfield, for over 8 years, and have over 20 years combined experience, which is important in ensuring that the desired results are achievable.

Invisalign is a clear aligner system that is much more discreet than the traditional brace systems. The almost invisible teeth aligners are made out of a thin clear plastic that fit over the teeth. After around 1-2 weeks of wearing an aligner you move on to the next one. The subtle changes in the aligners gradually straighten the teeth over a period of around 4-12 months, although it could be much less or slightly longer than this as each case differs.

How long does Invisalign take?

Invisalign can take anywhere between 4 and 12 months. In some cases it may be a little shorter or a little longer, the results are dependent on the individual.

Invisalign and your dentist can predict the duration of the treatment after your clincheck. This will give you a time frame for treatment.

Can you get Invisalign with already missing teeth?

The short answer is you can certainly get Invisalign with missing teeth in most cases.  We recommend a consultation with a dentist if you have any questions or concerns in relation to missing teeth and Invisalign.

Can I chew gum with Invisalign?

Whilst chewing gum has many benefits when it comes down to your oral health, we would’nt recommend chewing gum whilst wearing Invisalign aligners. Why? The gum could stick to your trays and cause scratches,  it may also make it difficuilt when cleaning. Chewing gum can be a habbit for some, adapting to the aligners becomes easy. When eating meals you will take your aligners out briefly so before putting them back in you could have a piece of gum after your meals.

How much is Invisalign a month?

Invisalign can be paid in installments, the last one paid prior to final appointment on a pay as you go basis.

Financing Invisalign is also another option. We provide 0% interest upto 12 months.

If you wanted to spread the cost at a longer term, this is something we can also offer upto 36 months.

Do Invisalign hurt?

No, you may experience some discomfort in the first day of wearing them, and upon changing aligners, but theres no pain. The majority of ours clients’ undergoing the treatment say how suprisingly comfortable they found the treatment. We have some members of the team who have or are having Invislign also. Feel free to have a chat with the team at your next visit.
