So what is it? Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that uses clear, removable aligners to straighten teeth. Instead of traditional metal braces, patients wear a series of custom-made aligners that gradually shift the teeth into the desired position. Invisalign is aimed at patients not happy with their crooked or tilted teeth. These patients often missed out on receiving braces when they were younger and attend to us to finally get straight teeth with some at pension age.
The aligners are made of a clear plastic material that is virtually invisible when worn, making them a popular choice for adults and older teens who want to straighten their teeth without the visible appearance of traditional metal braces.
